EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews. A positive, open-minded, and collaborative personality with strong self-management skills Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the cloud product Identify and address technical risks and challenges, proactively proposing solutions and mitigations Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven Give AI-based insights for SAP development teams, helping them identify gaps and improve their software development lifecycle EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Extensive experience in the full life cycle of software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. Excellent development skills in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript, GoLang Experience in Front end development with Angular or similar UI Frameworks (React, Vue) is beneficial Good understanding of container technologies, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native technologies. Proficient in Microservice-based architecture Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. HANA, Postgres) Knowledge working with pipeline orchestrators e.g. Azure Pipelines/GitHub Actions/Jenkins Knowledge working in BTP, BTP Cloud Foundry, BTP Kyma and Kubernetes is a plus Knowledge in Python, LangChain, LLMs is a plus Fluency both written and spoken in English.
