You’ll report to Veronika and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates. As an Industrial Quality Engineer you will: Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program We’ll look to you for : Management of Industrial Quality activities at Depot Level: o Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop (IQ team + process + KPI). o Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework. o Participate or delegate customer joint Inspections. o Participate to process FMEA definition. o Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution. o Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping. o Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team. o Perform Industrial Quality controls: o Perform, participate to inspections of products (Customer joint inspections included if applicable). o Manage problem solving. o Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required & performed follow-up. o Perform first characterization & manage NCR’s for non-compliant products for internal responsibility. o Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support. o Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection, delegation of control (Training, audit, …) & Position Quality Animation with EPU manager. § Perform incoming inspections: o Perform inspections according to Incoming Control Plan o Accept or Reject products as defined in the inspection instruction/ checklist o Records inspection results in the digital tools as required o Accurately document Non-conformity when applicable with clear characterization o Complete all associated Non-conformity activities such as completing the QM order, blocking stock and tasking appropriate parties in the ERP system (ex GSI) to initiate the NCR resolution process o Ensure the use of calibrated equipment and instrumentations used in the inspections. o Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. o Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, control plan and checklists. o Inspect and sort material from inventory purges as directed by SQ Serial or Supply chain o Inform supply chain and supplier quality on NCRs and impact of defects on part availability o Coordinate outside special process inspection or outside lab testing if required, with incoming inspection leader o Supports the SQ Serial and Incoming Inspection leader by providing inspection-related data for KPIs o Participates in daily meetings and fulfills daily priorities as set by the Incoming Inspection leader All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
