WHAT YOU WILL DO: Participate in the process of migrating the backend database from SQL Anywhere to a new database system Assist in rewriting, optimizing, and ensuring compatibility of existing .NET application code with the new database Work with the database engineers to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects Maintain and enhance existing code to meet project requirements Debug and resolve software defects and issues Write clear, maintainable code following industry best practices WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Proficiency in C# and/or VB.NET, with a good understanding of the .NET ecosystem Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL Experience in migrating databases and ensuring application compatibility Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN Excellent English level (verbal and written) Strong communication skills Strong project and time management skills Proactive personality Team player WHAT YOU WILL GET: Great culture – we love having fun and we love spending time together, so you can count on a great environment Flexible working hours, as long as the work process remains efficient Our office is in Sofia city center – close to a metro station and other public transport Home-office policy Some perks as food vouchers, additional health insurance, public transport card/parking lot (per availability), access to the building SPA and swimming pool area, sports card and others Mentoring, training, and career development programs, personally tailored to your career development plan Your colleagues are experts in their field – you can expect their work to be of highest quality and you’ll definitely have a strong team to rely on.
