About us We design and build exceptional satellites. EnduroSat is on a mission to transform the complex satellite industry into a streamlined data service, enabling instant access and transactions with space data on the cloud from hundreds of sensors in orbit. All made possible by unique satellite technology and our great engineering team. We are searching for more superhumans to join us in our mission to democratize access to space. What is the role? Satellite Assembly: Participate in the assembly and integration of satellite systems, including structural components, electrical systems, propulsion systems, and payloads. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all assembled satellites meet our rigorous quality standards. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, electrical engineers, and test engineers, to ensure seamless integration of satellite subsystems. Documentation: Maintain detailed assembly documentation, including assembly procedures, test plans, and build records. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate assembly processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. What do we look for? A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field. Minimum one year of experience in a similar role Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Good knowledge and proven experience in space tests and qualification standards Experience with cleanroom assembly procedures and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control measures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Previous experience with nanosatellite/microsatellite integration would be considered an advantage Familiarity with space qualification standards (e.g., ECSS, NASA-STD-8739) would be considered an advantage Personal skills Team player with excellent communication skills Attention to detail and desire to learn new skills and systems Open to knowledge sharing Results-oriented Understanding the importance of last-mile delivery Why EnduroSat?
